Hi everyone!
I'd like to begin this blog by telling you a little bit about myself. I am a software developer which uses Flex as his primary tool for application development. I started out a few years ago using PHP and MySQL and worked my way in the business, learning all about web technologies. In time, I learned to use Javascript, later on jQuery, pretty much all the basic tools of a web developer.
Fast forward a few years later, I learned about and started using frameworks, like Zend Framework and more recently Kohana.
Focusing manly on server-side technologies, I have left out the client side, except of course for JS and jQuery, but all that has changed in the last period when I started developing applications using Adobe Flex. It was a real revelation for me, in terms of app development in general, and regarding code and design, on a personal level.
That is why I decided to write about my experience, in part for sharing some of the important and/or funny aspects of programming, as well as for the purpose of future reference.
